It’s all about balance, at least for me, when it comes to eating healthy everyday. But I have my good days and my not so good days….. Regardless of my cravings, I LOVE bread, pasta and cheese. It’s important for me to balance out diet with daily food choices that will keep my body strong and healthy for years to come. These are 6 everyday superfoods can actually make you live longer and have your mind & body alert and full of energy.


Raspberries are rich in polyphenol antioxidants such as anythocynanin, vitamin C, vitamins B1-3, folic acid, iron, copper and magnesium. The high nutrient amounts in raspberries fight against inflammation, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cognitive and eyesight degeneration.


Salmon is an amazing source of omega-3 fatty acids, which actually slows down the aging process in our bodies. These particular fatty acids are known to prevent heart disease. Purchasing wild salmon is always best as there is controversy surrounding farmed salmon and the link to parasites.


Blueberries have high polyphenol levels, polyphenols are antioxidants which fight free radicals in our bodies which can stop the aging process. They help fight off inflammation, cancer and diabetes.
