Putting A Curb On Curbside Waste

We all have a few unused items kicking around our homes be it indoor or outdoor furniture, house wares, appliances, artwork, toys and bric-a-brac – there are charities, non-profits and facilities who can use these items to help families and animals in need. Before you put anything out on the curb on your local “Big” Garbage Day please consider donating your items. Your community and the environment will thank you! Here is a list of a few places you can call to arrange a pick up or drop off your unwanted items to.

The Furniture Bank services the GTA (including Georgetown) call if you have a lot of items that are gently used (downsizing, deceased estate belongings, moving etc.) for a reasonable fee your items will be picked up and you will get a donation receipt for the value of the items donated. Plus knowing that your items are helping families in need is a wonderful feeling
