Spring is coming! We promise.
It might not be just around the corner but it’s in sight. When it’s time to hang up that bulky parka don’t forget that you will still need an in-between jacket. Spring layers are our favorite layers because they feel so nice and light after months of down filled coats.
Let us walk you through the different ways to layer this spring with some of our beautiful new arrivals!
Vests are one of the most versatile pieces you can have in your closet. A long vest dresses up any outfit while elongating your body. You can put a vest over a t-shirt and jeans on the warmer days or you can layer it over a sweater or light jacket. It’s always good to grab and take with you because it can be worn indoors and outdoors.
We have three colour options for you. If you need a pop of colour or want to be a bit more adventurous the light pink is absolutely stunning! It pairs perfectly with denim and will brighten even the greyest of days.
The same style is available in classic black. For those of you who want to lighten up your wardrobe a little, we have this beautiful cascading vest in pebble grey which is a great neutral.
Soia & Kyo Kathryn Vest in Rose and Black: $295 // Soia & Kyo Lillian Vest: $295
Bomber jackets are here to stay. They are a great alternative to a leather or denim jacket. They offer a good amount of warmth without being too bulky. We love a classic army green bomber and we have two options for you. The first is a lighter and thinner bomber, not as bulky and can be worn indoors. The second option veers more into the outdoors category. Toss a bomber on over some black skinny jeans and a white t-shirt and you have a no fuss, very clean and classy outfit.
Soia & Kyo Bonsai Bomber: $295
With the rise of the Duster, the knee-length Top Coat is very popular right now…and for good reason. It’s an easy layer that can be worn over anything, everyday and for any occasion. We have three very different overcoats for your wardrobes! The first has a cascading draped collar and could be called a slightly deconstructed version of a trench. The second is an open style black sheath. It is minimal and stunningly chic. The third is sportier with a water repellent shell and scooped bottom. All black, all great options!
Soia & Kyo Trench: $320 // Mackage Josephine: $550 // Mackage Witney: $450
Now that we have these layers to look forward to wearing, we’ve gotta say that we’re pretty excited for Spring!
