Favourite Things

Hello Everyone,

How was your week? I am so looking forward to this Saturday and Sunday, I need some time to rest and recuperate from last week’s quick trip to Brisbane Australia with my flight home to Toronto only one day later, topped off with a super busy week in the studio. It’s no secret that I love lavender. From the plants in my garden, pots of lavender inside my home, my beauty products made from lavender and the amazing smell – I am in heaven!! With yesterday being the French national holiday, Bastille Day, and a need for some pampering – I decided to indulge my love for lavender and all things French with a visit to L’Occitane for a few supplies including a new handwoven market basket.

Happy Weekend,

Leonie xx

P/S  I had written my post yesterday afternoon before the horrific and tragic event that unfolded in Nice, France last night. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Nice and the families of those who lost their lives in last night’s attack. “It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light” – Aristotle Onassis
