MY TASTING NOTES
Deepest red purple in colour, huge full bodied wine with dark berry and coconut aromas, concentrated flavours and a smooth lingering finish. I enjoyed drinking this wine while eating a lunch of fillet steak accompained by a quinoa and barbecued vegetable salad.
REVEIWED BY
James Halliday – “Follows prior releases in maturing old vine shiraz in a mix of French oak and smaller barrels. It has freakish colour, still a deep, vivid crimson-purple; black fruits of every description, licorice and polished leather illuminate the bouquet and palate, tannins adding both to the present and long-term future of the wine.”
