It’s Friday and today is the day we leave for Australia!! This week has been a mix of sorting and packing whilst savouring the start of spring weather temperatures despite the rain, the official start to spring is in just 2 days on March 20. We are looking forward to spring here in Canada but it will still be very warm whilst we are in Australia with days in 30’s – that’s Celsius!
I love all the touches of spring decorating in the stores at the moment along with all the fun Easter decor, some things are just too tempting, but the true meaning of Easter in most parts of the world is Good Friday and the celebration of the risen on Easter Sunday morning. We were treated to a yummy homemade gluten free zesty orange loaf compliments of our home cooking contributor Nana Pat, it was so good!! The recipe will definitely have to be posted soon….
I am planning on taking lots of photos on this trip and posting them to Instagram and here daily – so I hope I don’t bore you all silly. I would love some comments and feedback so please send those my way…. also if you want me to capture certain things during my visit please let me know! We finally arrive into Brisbane on Sunday afternoon so when you are reading next on Monday we will be already enjoying the beautiful Australian sunshine.
