2 Cups All Purpose Flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

Pinch Of Salt

3 Large Eggs

1/4 Cup White Sugar

3/4 Cup Brown Sugar

Grated Zest Of One Orange

4 Teaspoon Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur

1 Cup Coarsely Chopped Almonds

3/4 Cup Chopped Hazelnuts

3/4 Cup Pine Nuts

Preheat Oven To 350 Degrees Fahrenheit


Lightly beat 1 Egg for the egg wash.

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

Beat 2 eggs, adding 1 at a time, until light, gradually adding the sugars.

Beat until the mixture is ribbony, about 10 minutes.

Stir in the orange zest and the Godiva liqueur.

Add the sifted ingredients, and blend on low speed until incorporated.

Fold in almonds, hazelnuts and pine nuts until blended.

Turn dough mixture onto buttered baking sheet.

With lightly floured hands, form dough into 3 loaves, each about 12 inches long by 2 inches wide.

Place on greased baking sheet.

Brush each loaf with egg wash.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, until lightly golden.

Remove the loaves from the oven and, using a serrated knife, immediately cut on the diagonal into 3/4 inch slices.

Lay the slices on their side on the baking sheet, and return the sheet to the oven, baking 6 minutes more, on each side, until golden brown.

Remove from the oven to cool on a rack.

Store in a tightly covered container.

Optional – Melt some white chocolate in a bowl over hot water, and dip the ends of the biscotti in the chocolate-laying them on parchment on the baking sheet to dry.
