Marinade Ingredients & Method
1/3 Cup Of Hoisin Sauce
1 Tablespoon Of Sherry
1 Tablespoon Of Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Of Asian Sesame Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Of Hot Sauce, Like Sriracha Or Tabasco Sauce
Whisk together in a small bowl and set aside.
Kebab Ingredients & Method
1 Sirloin Steak, Approximately 1 1/2 Pounds
Trim the excess fat off.
Cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes.
Place the cubes in sealable plastic bag.
Pour in the prepared marinade.
Press out air, then seal, turn the over bag to distribute marinade all over the meat.
Place in the refrigerator for 25 – 30 minutes.
Remove meat from bag, discard marinade and bag.
Thread the marinaded meat onto skewers.
Let the prepared meat skewers stand at room temperature 20 – 30 minutes before grilling.
Generously spray or brush the beef kebabs with olive oil.
Grill over medium to high heat until beef is medium or to liking, about 8 – 10 minutes.
Turn the skewers halfway through the grilling time.
Tomato Salad Ingredients & Method
6 Plum Tomatoes
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Of Very Thinly Sliced White Onion
1/4 Cup Of Coarsely Chopped Cilantro
2 Teaspoon Of Minced Jalopena Peppers With Seeds
1/2 Teaspoon Of Minced Garlic
Lightly brush the tomatoes with olive oil.
Grill over direct high heat till skins of tomatoes are lightly charred and starting to slip off, for 5 – 7 minutes.
Salad Dressing Ingredients & Method
2 Tablespoons Of Grapeseed Oil
1 Tablespoon Of Rice Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Of Asian Sesame Oil
1 Teaspoon Of Soy Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
Whisk together in a small bowl.
Transfer the grilled tomatoes to a cutting board.
Carefully remove the tomato skins then discard the skins.
Coarsely chop tomatoes.
Place in a medium bowl.
Pour the dressing over tomatoes and mix gently
Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
Spoon some of the salad onto each plate and slide the meat onto the salad.
