Homemade rosewater is genius. A multi-tasking gem that not only nourishes and hydrates but smells incredible and has antibacterial properties. Always opt for organically grown roses, commercial varieties are heavily sprayed with chemicals.

What You Need

1 Cup Of Rose Petals, Fresh or Dried

2 Cup Of Boiling Mineral Water

1 Spray Bottle & A Piece Of Muslin Or Cheesecloth

Directions

Place the petals in a heat-resistant bowl and add the boiling water, then cover with a lid.

Leave to infuse for 30 minutes.

Strain into the bottle.

Discard the petals.

Soak a cotton pad in the rosewater and dab on your face as a toner after cleansing and before applying moisturizer.

To revive tired or puffy eyes, place a soaked cotton pad over each eye and leave on for a couple of minutes.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 weeks.

Note

You can substitute the roses for lavender or fresh herbs (rosemary or mint), I like to pop a soft cloth or cotton pads in a freezer bag to use after a workout or on a hot day.
