How was your week? I hope you haven’t been blown away with all the blustery winds in the last few days. My week has unfortunately seemed very long and tremendously challenging at times. Our family lived with a lot of sadness as we said a very sad goodbye to our dear family friend, Sigrid, who lost her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at only 55 years young. The moments that we lived this week reminded me to hold those dear to me closer and remember to take the time make special sweet memories even in the hustle of everyday. Our kitchen renovations are almost wrapped up except for some painting that needs to be completed and some countertop edge repair. I am very much looking forward to some time curled up in my chair next to the window with the sun streaming in with a book and hot cup of peppermint tea for at least an hour or 2 this weekend. I am already planning my Easter entertaining, I am thinking of trying my hand at making these white chocolate tinted bunnies and carrot cake cookies that were featured on Martha Stewart. I would love to hear what you all have planned.
