My process for meal planning is usually the same each week at our kitchen table, I take an inventory of what’s to be used up from our refrigerator and freezer then find recipes to use those ingredients and sale items from my local grocery and organic butcher. This week was not one of those – it was done on the fly, written on my phone on the way to my local Home Depot from memory and a quick flick through this week’s grocery flyer. This past weekend was unusually hectic with trying to have most of our kitchen renovation finished up and my decision that I absolutely needed 2 more shelves in my walk-in pantry, the look on my husband face was 😬 to say the least….
