Plan a morning ritual that works for you. Wake up and start the day with a glass of warm water with lemon. Open the blinds and greet the day. Have 20 minute stretching routine next to your bed. Write in your journal or listen to a motivational podcast. Just start with one of these ideas and then build on from there.
Make a shopping list, plan your meals for each day ahead of time. If you’re having a day out, pack healthy and nutritious snacks like nuts and vegetables. Heading to the office for the day, pack a salad and fruit cup – make it appealing! Do a weekly grocery shop with your planned meals so you have all the ingredients, that way you can easily cook your dinner and pack your lunches without any hassle.
No excuses – 30 minutes of exercise everyday, no matter what. Try yoga, pilates or barre. A class at gym or a solo workout. Simply walk or run around the block. It isn’t about losing weight, it’s taking care of your body to be healthy and strong as you age, to be your best self.
Let It Go
